The WLVRN is Desert Tech's third-generation semi-automatic bullpup rifle platform. Utilizing an all-new integrated receiver, The WLVRN is completely new on the inside and maintains the familiar manual of arms of the MDRX.
The WLVRN was developed as a semi-automatic bullpup rifle platform to reliably deliver Unrivaled Performance no matter the situation or mission, whether sportsmen or operator, with the versatility to adapt to unforeseen changes and obstacles.

The WLVRN inherits the barrel mounting and clamping mechanism of the SRS & HTI family of precision rifles. The barrel mounting system is machined integrally into the receiver. This all-new design significantly increases the stiffness of the WLVRN's upper receiver and improves the accuracy of the WLVRN by up to 30%.
The WLVRN is the first bullpup that can be converted on-the-go between large and short-frame calibers such as .308 Win and 5.56 NATO

The WLVRN is Desert Tech's most reliable semi-automatic bullpup rifle platform. This all-new rifle system provides exceptional shootability and leverages a redesigned integrated receiver using 49 fewer parts combined with multiple chassis upgrades and technology inherited from the SRS and HTI rifle platforms. Compared to the MDRX, the WLVRN is up to 30% more accurate, up to 19% lighter, and continues to be a multi-caliber, modular platform that can be configured into a DMR, SPR, IAR, CQB, or RECCE rifle.

The WLVRN platform inherits all the benefits of the bullpup rifle, like full-Length barrels in a compact package. A WLVRN with a 16-inch barrel is shorter than a conventional AR pattern rifle with a 10.5-inch barrel. Never sacrifice the ballistic potential of your caliber of choice. The longer the barrel, the greater the terminal ballistics. The Optimization of the Gas System and Bolt Carrier Group makes the WLVRN have incredibly low felt recoil and muzzle rise.

The redesigned receiver removes the need for non-critical steel parts, reducing the weight and integrating them directly into the receiver.
5. SRS & HTI Technology
The WLVRN inherits our barrel clamping system into the integrated receiver just like the SRS & HTI sniper rifle receivers. This significantly increases the stiffness of the upper receiver and guarantees the barrel and bolt are perfectly concentric with the receiver and with each other.
